Adult / Family Programs
ESOL: Small, supportive classes for adults wishing to learn or improve English skills. Tutoring is also available for eligible clients. GED: Tutorials for adults preparing for the GED exam. Citizenship: Short-term classes or tutorials for adults preparing for the U.S. Citizenship Exam. Financial Management: Basic money management and remedial math instruction to assist in household budgeting. Work Readiness Workshops: Skills that enable participants to find, secure, maintain, and succeed at employment. Job Coaching: Dealing with on-the-job issues as they arise. Basic Computer Skills: Instruction on the components and uses of the computer, as well as an introduction to word processing, spreadsheets, and other common applications. Family literacy programs also include case management and information and referral. Clients will be
assessed on an individual basis to determine eligibility and placement.
Call for appointment. Services are provided free of charge to participants
who meet certain criteria, or for a nominal charge. |
